My Pitch at Venture Café Tokyo – Pitch2Tokyo 2026 Regional Round

My Pitch at Venture Café Tokyo – Pitch2Tokyo 2026 Regional Round

On 20th November 2025, I had the honour of pitching Bridging Connect at the Pitch2Tokyo 2026 – Regional Round, hosted by Venture Café Tokyo as part of their Global Gathering initiative.

It was an incredible experience, a packed room, founders from all over the world, and a strong mix of Japanese and international innovation. The atmosphere was electric, supportive, and genuinely inspiring.

My pitch went extremely well.

While I didn’t take first prize, I was told I was very likely the runner-up, which means a lot considering the quality of founders presenting that evening.

What I Pitched: Bridging Connect AI

I introduced Bridging Connect AI, an upcoming AI-powered, cross-cultural networking and recruitment platform designed to help professionals and organisations connect internationally.

Key points from the pitch:

  • The world needs better tools for cross-cultural collaboration

  • Language + cultural barriers slow down global business

  • Bridging Connect’s AI tools (Bridge Match, Bridge Talk, Bridge Language) solve these problems

  • The platform is not a competitor to LinkedIn, it is a specialised connector for global teams

  • We support startups, organizations, HR teams, and professionals trying to expand across borders

The audience reacted incredibly well, especially to our AI-driven cultural tone adjustment, global matchmaking, and Japan–UK focus.

The Demo Table Experience

One of the highlights of the event was being invited to host a small demo table alongside the pitch.

Attendees from different industries approached the table, asked questions, picked up leaflets, scanned QR codes, and joined our early-access waiting list.

The reactions were consistent:

“We need something exactly like this for Japan and global teams.”

“Matchmaking + cultural insight? This is new.”

It was the first time people outside my circle interacted with the platform concept physically and the validation felt real.

Thank You

A big thank you to Venture Café Tokyo and the entire team for organising an incredible event.

And thank you to everyone who supported Bridging Connect, online and in person.

This was one of the important milestone in my Japan journey, and I’m excited for what comes next.

Stay tuned, big updates for Bridging Connect are coming soon.
